To every spectator,

As a volunteer of the 2008 Olympic Games, I’m writing this letter to advocate all the audience to watch sports events in a civilized manner.

Olympic Games are windows through which we introduce China together with Chinese culture to the world. Watching the events in a civilized manner is the reflection of our Chinese people’s qualities.

Uncivilized conducts not only disturb the normal order of sports events but also spoil the international image of China and Chinese people, which will eventually influence the friendship between China and other countries and even have a negative effect on the development of China.

Therefore, I recommend all the audience to do as follows: form a good habit of queuing up; don’t throw litters about and do not disturb others when watching an event; never say dirty words at any moment.
